Under the direction of the Chief Anesthetist, you will be responsible for observing intraoperative procedures and monitoring patients. Using proper technique, you will work with Physician Anesthesiologists to administer general and regional anesthetics, as well as inserting intravenous, central venous and arterial catheters. Your duties will also include participating in ongoing departmental research, teaching conferences and quality assurance to develop and maintain accurate skills and techniques.

The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree, current NYS license and registration with certification from Society of Nurse Anesthetists. A minimum of one to two years of experience as a CRNA is required. Excellent organization and communication skills coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment will be essential to your success at HSS.
